Learn to Skate
Albany FSC Learn to Skate program provides skaters with high-quality group skating options in a fun and supportive environment. Group ice skating lessons taught by expert instructors with years of experience on the ice allow skaters to achieve personal growth and development by participating in a high-quality program that teaches the fundamentals of figure skating progressively and sequentially.
In addition, Albany FSC is committed to providing skaters with continued group skating options for learning basic skating skills, with emphasis on footwork and proper form in our Learn to Freestyle program. In more advanced figure skating classes, jumps, spins, artistry, and more intricate footwork and techniques are the focus.
Our Learn to Skate USA and U.S. Figure Skating programs are offered fall, winter, and spring for beginner and advanced figure and hockey skaters from ages 3 to Adult!
Our coaches hold current memberships as members of U.S. Figure Skating and Learn to Skate USA. They have passed background checks and completed online certification(s). Some coaches are also members of the Professional Skaters Association.
