Nikki has been teaching for 10 years.  She is a graduate of the University of Delaware’s Figure Skating Science program. Nikki is the former BIG Arena Skating Director.  She is a PSA, USFS and ISI member and a USFS Gold Medalist.  Schallehn-Coleman is also a former professional show skater with Rosstyn Ice Shows.  Additionally, Nikki is the co-author of The Essential Figure Skater, a how-to book published by Lyons Press in 2000.   In addition to teaching, she also edits music for figure skating programs.   Nikki enjoys working with skaters of all levels and abilities and is dedicated to assisting her students in reaching their highest potential

Rocky has been coaching for over 15 years and is a member of the Ice Skating Institute (ISI) and United States Figure Skating Association (USFSA). Following a long amateur career with a strong background in figures, freestyle and choreography, Rocky became a professional Figure Skater in 1986 and performed and toured with Ice Capades for four years. During his competitive amateur career he trained extensively under the direction and supervision of Olympic Skater Tommy Litz, in Lake Placid, New York. Rocky received many Gold, Silver and Bronze medals through out his skating career and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to all levels and areas of Figure Skating for testing, competition and synchronized skating in both ISI and USFSA. In addition to coaching, Rocky has a career in health care working for NYS Department of Health.

Liz has been a full-time skating professional for over 8 years, with extensive experience in teaching and coaching freestyle, moves in the field, and synchronized skating.  She enjoys working with skaters of all ages, levels and abilities.  Liz works with skaters at both recreational and competitive levels, in local and regional competitive events, and through the USFS testing regimen. She is passionate about the sport of figure skating and enjoys all aspects of her work, from skills and technique to music editing and choreography. Liz is a member of the Professional Skaters Association (PSA), United States Figure Skating (USFS), and the Ice Skating Institute (ISI.

Maria has been coaching for over 15 years and is a member of Ice Skating Institute (ISI), United States Figure Skating Association (USFSA) and Professional Skaters Association (PSA). She coaches all levels and ages, including adults, in both private and group settings throughout the Capital District. Maria earned a Batchelor's degree from Russell Sage College in elementary education, was employed for over 13 years as a rink manager and has been employed as a part time Physical Education instructor at Hudson Valley Community College for the past 14 years.

Karla has been coaching for over 6 years. She is a member of both ISI (Ice Skating Institute) and USFS (United States Figure Skating). She is a Gold Medalist in Moves in the Field and has passed her Novice Freestyle. She spent the last four years as a professional show skater, performing across the country for Rosstyn Ice Shows. Her professional show career started with Spotlight Productions in Frankfurt, Germany. She is the founder and choreographer for the Albany River Rats Ice Mice and the Adirondack Frostbite Ice Girls (on and off ice promotion teams). Karla enjoys working with students of all ages and abilities.

Casey is a graduate of Cornell University. She has been teaching for 8 years. She is a USFSA double Gold Medalist in Freestyle and Ice Dancing. She has also passed her 7th Figure Test. She is a Senior rated PSA freestyle coach and has a Certified rating in Moves in the Field. Casey has coached Regional competitors as well as beginners. Several of her students have completed the USFSA Senior level. Coaching fee: $45.00

Shealee is a recent graduate of Russell Sage College. She has been teaching for 8 years in the North Berkshire and Albany areas. Shealee is a member of both USFSA and ISI. She has passed both her Senior Moves in the Field and Freestyle tests. Shealee enjoys working with students of all ages and abilities. Coaching fee: $38.00/hr.
